Raychis

Version 1.1.1 release notes

A reliability patch on top of 1.1.0. Care reminders are added to older plants, the first health check is saved accurately, and the camera and results screen are more reliable.

Raychis 1.1.1 is a reliability patch for 1.1.0. It adds no new features or permissions, and it does not change how identification works.

Fixed

  • Care reminders are added to plants already in your garden. Version 1.1.0 started creating care checks automatically for newly added plants. Plants that were already in your garden did not get those checks. This update adds them.
  • Your first health check is saved accurately. The first scan now records the plant’s actual health status rather than a placeholder, and that status reads more clearly on the plant page.

Improved

  • A more reliable camera and results screen. The camera recovers cleanly when you come back to it, and the results screen no longer stalls after a scan.
  • More accurate watering and seasonal care advice across many plants. Seasonal adjustments now better match each plant type, watering timing was corrected for seventeen species, and tips that contradict a shade-loving or dry-loving plant are hidden.

Also in this release

A long list of smaller corrections. On Android, the back gesture now retraces your steps rather than exiting the app. The free-tier reminder limit is applied again when a subscription lapses, smart-timing learning is reversed when you undo a care completion, and the expanded results view now lets you copy a species name.

Unchanged

Identification still runs entirely on your device, and your garden stays on your phone. There is still no account, no photo upload and no new permission in this release. The free tier and Raychis Plus are unchanged; the pricing page has the details.
