Raychis

Version 1.1.0 release notes

The first feature update. Each plant's full care guide now lives on its own page, any species reads in full from Explore, and care checks are set up automatically when you add a plant.

Raychis 1.1.0 is the first feature update since 1.0.1. It puts each plant’s care guide on the plant page.

New

  • A plant’s full care guide now lives on its own page. Watering, light, feeding and repotting for that species, right beside the plant, with no extra taps.
  • Read any species in full from Explore before you add it. The complete guide is there to read first, before a plant joins your garden.
  • Care checks are set up for you when you add a plant. Add a plant and its reminders are created automatically, one per care type, with no setup screen to work through.
  • Redeem a Raychis Plus offer code. Offer codes now work through the standard App Store and Play redemption sheets. The subscription itself is unchanged.

Improved

  • More reliable care reminders. Archived plants no longer nudge you, reminders reschedule when you change your notification preferences, and imported reminders are scheduled straight away.
  • A steadier camera that recovers cleanly when you come back to it.
  • More accurate care advice across many plants. Woody, perennial and food crops now get advice suited to them, and a plant that must not be fed no longer carries a feeding tip.

Also in this release

A long list of smaller corrections. Your identification history is kept between sessions, a plant’s species can be corrected by hand from the plant page, discarded captures are cleaned up rather than left behind, and the upgrade screen now shows what the free tier includes alongside Plus.

Unchanged

Identification still runs entirely on your device, and your garden stays on your phone. No account, no upload, and no new permissions in this release. The free tier and Raychis Plus are exactly as they were; the pricing page has the details.
