Raychis is out. As of this morning it is on the App Store and Google Play, free to download, in every country both stores reach.
If you joined the waitlist, the email you signed up for is the one that brought you here. That is the last you will hear from that list; it has done its job.
What version 1 does
Point the camera at a plant and Raychis tells you what it is, how confident it is, and whether it looks healthy. All of it runs on your phone, and none of it needs a signal. Save what you scan and the app keeps track of your garden through the year, with care guidance matched to your region and the season.
The free tier is not a demo. Identification quality is never gated; you get five scans a day and your whole garden without paying anything. Plus removes the daily limit and adds care schedules, reminders, and the full guide library, with a 7-day free trial.
Thank you, beta testers
The version shipping today is better than the one that entered beta a month ago, and that is down to the people who ran early builds on their own plants and told us what broke. The day-one patch we wrote about last week made it into the launch build, as planned.
The beta programme is not closing. From today it tests pre-release builds of whatever ships next, and there is room for more testers.
What happens next
We keep building. The roadmap for the rest of the year is the one on the features page: richer diagnosis as the experimental models mature, and a garden that gets more useful the longer you keep it. Updates land here on News first; there is an RSS feed if you want them delivered.
